To apply for a place please fill in the online form or contact us admissions@christchurchplaygrouphighbury.com - let us know a bit more about you and your child, the hours you are interested in and when you'd like to start - and we'll be in touch to confirm availability and tell you more about our lovely setting and answer any questions you have.
We offer three different options on weekly hours (all run Monday-Friday). ●20hours (9.15am -1.15pm) ●30hours (9.15am - 3.15pm) ●15hours (12.15pm - 3.15pm)
We offer places under the Government's 15 and 30 hour schemes as well as subsidised places for those on benefits. Please note that there is always a small supplementary cost associated with the 15 and 30 hours schemes. This is primarily for the cost of providing a hot lunch and paying for the external providers of extra activities (like Sparky Songs and Sports School).
Here are our WEEKLY fees for 2 and 3+ year olds for all the sessions we offer.
Government funded care for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds and tax free child care Are you finding all the funding options very confusing? You aren't alone! Please give us a call, or send an email to admissions@christchurchplaygrouphighbury.com and we can help you understand what you might be eligible for as part of our admissions process.
All Children age 3 and 4 years qualify for a subsidy for each term from the government which equates to 15 free hours of Playgroup time. The reduction in fees is effective from the term after the child’s 3rd birthday.
We have a tax-free childcare account. If you are eligible, you can pay your playgroup fees through this account and receive £2 from the Government for every £8 you put in.Check your eligibility here: https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare
Payments: Fees are payable monthly via standing order, either directly into the Christ Church Playgroup account and or by Childcare Vouchers or via the tax-free-childcare portal. If you have any queries about these payments, please speak to the fees administrator or the Playgroup Treasurer.
Deposits required to secure places: Please note a £200 deposit (£50 for families on benefits) is required by all new starters before they start with the playgroup to ensure a secured place. This deposit will be deducted from the first months invoice.
